Receta de Epi


2 lbs. of shrimp
1 onion
1celery strip
1/2 bottle of ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
tabasco sauce
lime juice – use 5 or 6 limes


  • 1. Boil the shrimp
  • 2. Peel them
  • 3. Let them sit on the lime juice, salt and pepper overnight
  • 4. Cut into tiny pieces the parsley, onions, celery and mix with the tabasco sauce and the ketchup
  • 5. Drain the shrimp and pour the tabasco/ketchup sauce over them. Let them sit on the ketchup sauce ofr 3 or 4 hours before serving.
  • 6. Serve on top of a leaf of lettuce.

Enjoy with a couple of saltine crackers.
