Fanny Rabel (also Rabinovich) was born August 27, 1922 in Poland. She lived in Mexico City.

In 1929 she initiated her education in France. She arrived in Mexico in 1938 and the following year she started taking night courses. She was a collaborator to David Alfaro Siqueiros in 1940. During the years from 1940 to 1945 she studied art in La Esmeralda, and from 1945 to 1948, at the School of Arts of the Book. She was also a collaborator to Diego Rivera in the Murals at Palacio Nacional in México City. In 1948 she was a founding member of the Society for the Improvement of the Fine Arts.

From 1949 to 1961 she was member of the TGP. In 1953 she was founding member of FNAP. En 1957 she painted the mural at the Israeli Sport Center. In 1959 she traveled to Europe and Israel. She also painted a mural at the National Anthropological Museum in Mexico City.
